Presentation
Investment strategy

Latour Capital makes majority and minority investments in growth companies.

We make investments:

  • in buyout and growth capital transactions, with an internal co-investment capacity allowing to carry out significant investments
  • as majority or minority shareholder
  • on companies based in France and Europe
  • with an enterprise value in excess of €150m

We have a generalist approach with, however, a focus on business services.
We focus on primary transactions and, in this regard, target the spin-off of non-core subsidiaries of large groups.
We focus on companies that have a strong growth potential, a specific competitive advantage (innovative product, commercial edge), an established or possible sustained international activity and a strong management team.

Our entrepreneurs' added value

Latour Capital leverages the entrepreneurial mindset and operational expertise of its team to create value in portfolio companies.

Being an active shareholder alongside management is the core of Latour Capital’s DNA. Indeed, the Latour Capital team is characterised by:

  • Genuine operational expertise in the management of growing businesses
  • A strong entrepreneurial spirit as evidenced by numerous successes in the creation and development of businesses
  • Contacts, and an ability to negotiate, at the highest levels with the CEO of large French groups, with large financial institutions and with public authorities
  • The ability to elaborate industrial, marketing and commercial strategies

Without interfering in the day-to-day management of its portfolio companies, Latour Capital leverages the entrepreneurial mindset

and genuine operational expertise of its team to develop businesses and create value in portfolio companies.
Latour Capital seeks, more particularly, companies where value can be added through the specific fields of expertise of the Founding Partners: organization, strategy, commercial and marketing.
Latour Capital defines and structures an industrial project upstream of each investment. Post investment, the team is actively involved in the implementation of the project. This usually includes the sourcing and evaluation of build-up opportunities, structural reorganization initiatives, initiatives to drive organic growth and enhance the commercial leadership, strategic decisions (repositioning, innovation, international development, product expansion, etc.) and key decisions. When supporting the international development of portfolio companies, Latour Capital can rely on its network of major international investors based in Europe and North America.
